In Ukraine, we do not have specific sexual and reproductive health services, as in many countries in Africa and Asia. As a Foundation, we work with the public sector, with institutions that work in Ukraine, and our goal is primarily to support public healthcare institutions in their work.

Project goals

𒊹 to equip healthcare facilities in different regions with modern medical equipment and provide medical supplies for rendering gynecological services to all women, including women with disabilities

𒊹 to build the capacity of healthcare facilities and relations with local governments as a part of the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP)

𒊹 to train healthcare workers in providing sexual and reproductive health services to vulnerable women populations, women with disabilities, women who survived gender-based violence and internally displaced women

𒊹 to implement advocacy activities aimed at improving the quality assessment of sexual and reproductive health services, awareness-raising and educational activities

Project results in 2023

  • 7 oblasts: Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Donetsk and Khmelnytskyi oblasts
  • 15 healthcare facilities
  • 3,661 trained health professionals
