The project aims to strengthen the capacity of the Ukrainian healthcare system to prevent and respond to gender-based violence. It is implemented by the Women’s Health and Family Planning Foundation with the support of the WHO Office in Ukraine in coordination with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Project objectives:
- Integrate the WHO training package on GBV into public health curricula in medical/public health educational institutions.
- Assess existing GBV care services using the Gender-Based Violence Quality Assurance Tool (GBV QA Tool) for further improvement to ensure the quality of medical care for victims of gender-based violence.
