The project was implemented jointly with the international humanitarian organization CARE with the financial support of the Disasters Emergency Committee of the United Kingdom and the British people (UK Aid) during August-December 2024.
Project objectives
𒊹 Assess the capacity of health facilities to provide sexual and reproductive health services and services related to gender-based violence, as well as assess the training needs of facility staff
𒊹 Equip health facilities with equipment and medical supplies, including kits for safe abortion, clinical treatment of rape, delivery, contraceptives, etc.
𒊹 Provide advanced training for medical professionals from project partner facilities

Project results

- 4 regions: Kyiv, Odesa, Poltava and Kirovohrad regions
- 24 healthcare facilities have equipped gynecological offices
- 55 healthcare workers successfully completed training
- 4,134 women received sexual and reproductive health services within the project
- 8,308 medical supplies were received by healthcare facilities
