The project was implemented in partnership and under the support of the International Planned Parenthood Federation/IPPF and CARE during May 2022 – February 2023.
Project goals
- Strengthen the capacity of healthcare facilities and healthcare workers to provide care in cases of sexual violence
- Increase access to psychosocial services for victims of gender-based violence
- Raise awareness among victims of gender-based violence
Project results
- 4 oblasts: Kyiv, Poltava, Kirovohrad and Odesa oblasts
- 12 healthcare facilities with equipped barrier-free gynecological rooms
- 341 trained healthcare workers
- 1,000 first aid kits were delivered to the victims
