The project was implemented in cooperation with the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) and under financial support of the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) during October 2022 — December 2023.
Project goals
𒊹 equip healthcare facilities with medication kits to deliver safe abortion services and comprehensive care to victims of sexual violence
𒊹 trainings to raise the capacity of healthcare facilities and health professionals to provide family planning services, safe abortion, and response to gender-based violence
Project results
- 6 oblasts: Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Poltava, Khmelnytskyi and Rivne oblasts
- 7 model clinics to provide safe abortion services at the premises of public healthcare facilities
- 9 healthcare facilities with equipped barrier-free gynecological rooms
- 95 healthcare workers who completed a five-day training on safe abortion
